Due to an increasing number of card fraud incidents in regions across the United States, CU Community Credit Union has made the move to block debit and credit card transactions using CUCCU-issued cards in three additional states: Ohio, New York, and Georgia. Card activity is also blocked in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
CUCCU members who plan to travel in these states and need access to their credit union debit and credit cards can call a member services representative at 417.865.3912 to have your cards unblocked. Protecting our members from fraud is a top priority for CU Community Credit Union. We may block activity in certain states to prevent unauthorized activity and to give your accounts additional security. Members traveling to countries outside of the United States for vacation or business should also call the credit union to have their cards unblocked for foreign countries. It is credit union policy to block all foreign transactions unless a member requests that their card be unblocked.
