With High Yield Checking, you’ll earn our best rate on balances up to $20,000 as long as you meet the monthly requirements (use direct deposit, 15 debit card transactions, eStatements, and login to online banking twice a month). Any money over $20,000 still earns dividends, just at the base rate. For example, if your balance is $25,000, you’ll earn the higher rate on the first $20,000 and the base rate on the remaining $5,000.
