Set-Up Loan Payments from an External Account

One way you can take care of your loan payments without needing to visit a branch is by paying from an external account. You must be enrolled in online banking to use this feature. If you haven’t set-up online banking, enroll in online banking, and then return here to create a connection to your external account

Desktop External Transfer Set-up

1. Access Transfers

Login with your online banking. Go to Transfers in the left menu, then select +External account. Enter your password to confirm it’s you.

2. Create External Account

Enter a name for the account, routing number, account number, and then select the coordinating account type.

3. Micro Deposits Sent

Two small deposits will be sent to your other account for verification. Once received, follow the next steps to finalize linking your external account.

4. Verify Micro Deposits

Log into online banking, click the arrow next to the name in the bottom left-hand corner. Select Account Settings.

5. Enter Deposit Amounts to Complete

Select External Transfers and enter the two deposit amounts. Click Confirm to complete the verification process. You are all set to create an external transfer!

Mobile External Transfer Instructions

1. Access Transfers

Open the Multipli Credit Union app. Select Transfers within the main menu, then select Make a Transfer.

2. Create External Account

Select Add external Account. Enter a name for the account, routing number, account number, and select the coordinating account type. Click Submit.

3. Micro Deposits Sent

Two small deposits will be sent to your other account for verification. Once received, follow the next steps to finalize linking your external account.

4. Verify Micro Deposits

Access the Transfers menu within the app, Select Make a Transfer, and then select the appropriate account name that you created earlier.

5. Enter Deposit Amounts to Complete

Enter the two deposit amounts. Click Confirm to complete the verification process. You are all set to create an external transfer!
