Coordinates and performs the post-closing functions of the mortgage loan process to include, but not limited to, review of the signed closing document package, funding and disbursal of loan proceeds, boarding of the mortgage loan to operating and servicing systems, and facilitating delivery of secondary market transactions to the appropriate investor.
Provide servicing for all aspects of mortgage lending including ACH requests, payoff requests, processing mortgage payoffs (including wire payoffs), insurance claims, updating homeowners insurance, paying taxes and insurance, verification of partial mortgage releases of property. Assist with quality control pre-close and postclose reviews. Specialized areas will include: Insurance, Taxes, and FICS (Financial Industry Computer Systems).
Responsible for all functions related to real estate loan closing, working with all internal and external parties to balance final figures, prep final closing docs, and finalize any outstanding loan conditions to ensure a smooth and timely loan closing for the borrower, loan officer and title company.
